CLEVELAND -- Two longtime Browns fans met Tuesday with owner Randy Lerner to talk about their disappointment over the team's performance since its return to the NFL ten years ago.

Mike Randall, known as "Dawg Pound Mike," described the two-hour meeting with Lerner as "cordial."

Randall has been urging fans to arrive late to the stadium for the Nov. 16 home game against the Ravens.  He describes the protest as a "brown out" to show fan displeasure during the nationally televised Monday Night Football game.

Randall says Lerner did not try to dissuade him from staging the protest. A follow-up phone call or meeting is planned with Lerner at which time Randall says he will make a decision about the "brown out".

Lerner approached Browns fans in the stands in Chicago after the Browns lost 30 to 6 and dropped to 1-7 on the year. He has said he does not plan to fire Eric Mangini.
